The drivers for the chipset, audio, and other minor parts aren't that important, and you can more than get by with what Apple provides. It's the GPU that ends up being problematic, though the reference drivers are pretty easy to change.

During the 9600GT MacBook Pro days, someone (Apple, nVidia?) did something and the reference drivers suddenly stopped installing on Macs. Luckily it was a simple file replacement (think they yanked the hardware ID out of the driver's compatibility list) but I don't know if they still do this with the GT650m.

install the bootcamp drivers that you have already downloaded. if not, get a thumb drive with at least 1gb free, and shutdown windows, when the grey screen appears, press alt/option and choose to boot at OSX, go to bootcamp assistant and ask for it to download the windows drivers. restart, boot into windows and install the drivers.

where should i see the drivers at ? as in where does it download them to , which directory

When you run Boot Camp Assistant, select the option to download the drivers, plug in a 1 GB or larger thumb drive, and the program does everything for you. There's nothing for you to see in the creation process. Then as Mr MM said, reboot back into Windows, open up the USB drive, and run the installer just like you would for any Windows program. Boot Camp is a kitchen sink approach in that it installs drivers for every possible combination of hardware. It doesn't do anything harmful except clutter up the add/remove programs control panel, but it's still annoying.

ok , so i installed windows x64 , everything works great. however i have two issues...
1) takes about 40 seconds for windows to load while OSx takes 14 ?
2) when I load up or restart , it always makes windows as my default OS... so unless i hold the ALT/option button on start
windows will load. any way of changing it ?
thanks
*edit*
Ok , i managed to solve problem #2. but still weird that it takes 40 seconds to 1 min when it boots off windows... -

thats the normal boot time of windows on bootcamp, win 8 reduced that greatly

Karamazovmm Overthinking? Always!
install win 8 and see how that drops to 30s

isnt windows 8 still in beta ?
btw , can i do an upgrade from windows 7 to 8 via bootcamp or i will need to repartition etc ? -
Karamazovmm Overthinking? Always!
you can do the upgrade from the windows 7 itself, just download the iso, mount it using poweriso, and install.
beware, if you have win 7 32bits, you are going to install win 8 32bits, unless you do a complete install, i.e. put into a thumb drive and boot to that. I do recommend this way though
And yes win 8 is still beta, I like it, some hate it.
after installing windows via bootcamp. drivers ?
