There are some programs I cannot live without on windows. For one, i cant live without a p2p program if you know what i mean ;). Also i cannot live without "gom player", gom player is a media playing program that plays every single video file mpeg, avi, etc... Anywyas i was wondering if there are similar programs that are compatible on a mac.

Well there are a lot of P2P programs including LimeWire, who is currently being sued and Aquisition. Also there is always bit torrent. VLC is a great media player that will play nearly anything.

And where VLC fails to cover in the "nearly anything" area, is where Mplayer dominates it all. ;)

Mplayer has a MUCH better system than VLC does, the Post processing on its pretty nice.

    VLC is definitely pretty nice.

For BitTorrent, you might want to check out Bits on Wheels:

Has a very cool 3D visualization view, and is a pretty solid bittorrent client anyway.

The things I will miss most when i switch are these apps:

    1) Picasa (yes, iphoto is there but Picasa is much better)

    2) Hello (another google app integrated into picasa for sending pics to others)

    3) uTorrent

    4) LogMeIn (control your comp for free over the internet)

The rest ive been doing my research on and have found solutions. But those i'm still trying to figure out.
