Yes and no. Most will say no and to be honest, you really won't find many antivirus' out there that will work on OS X for Macs. The reason for this is because of the market position of the Mac. While it is still possible to get a virus on a Mac, because the majority of people use Windows, it is more beneficial for a hacker to create malware for Windows. For example, why would I create a program to track your keystrokes for a Mac when I could do the same for a Windows and have a much higher rate of return on information that I can use to get me money or whatever? So, most of the people who use Macs don't install one unless they use Boot Camp to install a full copy of Windows on their Mac. Then you would need to install an antivirus for your Windows side of Mac as that part is vulnerable.

I answered this in another thread for you, but just again, currently, it is not necessary for you to have antivirus on a Mac. There are no major viruses out in the wild targeting OS X. That may change in the future, but for now you're good!

Yeah no need for AV's on a Mac. Theres lots of other security holes you can choose from :D

    jks.

There are very few viruses running wild in the OS X and Linux world. The biggest target of hackers and malware are windows users. Which is one advantage of having these OS's, they are immune to Windows based viruses.
