Guys,i thought that it will be cool to have Apple team here on NBR,cos HP and Dell havve their teams here so why cant we have one?so,if you like this idea, lets ask Sam to create a "NBR Apple team"(or something like this) thread and make some fancy sig logos
![]()
EDIT: or,even better, lets have "Apple Club"?![]()

stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
I like team better than club, but it is a good idea
.
-
thank you...i thought of club because it sounds more "special" then team,if you understand what i mean
like "i m a member of "apple club" " lol
-
Personally I'd call it the Macintosh Team.
Top Gear rules by the way
-
there already is an Apple team! come on now. no need to make it official.

So would I. -
other opinions?
-
haha, what would said, "Team Apple" do, per say? we will help answer questions either way.
and your brain is way beyond dual core -
I second that.
Also us apple people are already slammed for being snobby, no need to add fuel to the fire.

i meant that it will be cool to have some thing like
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=266543 this
or
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=3292673 this
but if you dont like it... -
Nice....Let's call it NBR APPLE FORCE or TEAM APPLE UNITED
-
Super Fantastic Team Macintosh?
Team Mac-PLOSION?
Team Mac>u?
Awesome Team Mac Fantastic Force Explosion? -
Apple Core -- multi core brain power
-
You guys will never be as cool as us!
-
We already are - we don't have Dells.
Some say, that he hates Windows with the passion of a thousand fiery suns, and that he thinks that Snow Leopard is an operating system. All we know is, hes called the Stig.
As far as a name goes, I like the Apple Force idea, but something like Mac Squad could be ok as well. -
How about Mactopia?
-
That sounds like more of a place, as opposed to a group of members who have united under the banner of Apple-dom.
-
lol
any other ideas? -
If you guys can get a name together
D), I'm not against the idea!
Of course, just clarifying that the team would be symbolic more than anything, so that there are no requirements to joining (just put an image or something in your sig) and there are no "cliques" involved! It would mainly be just a symbol that we're Mac users on NBR, just as there is an NBR Linux Team, NBR Compaq Team, NBR OC Team
.
-
^thats what i meant, but i guess guys didnt understand me...
-
Yes, thats what I understood it to be as well.
And ok, I know for sure that the name should NOT be NBR Apple Team.
-
Count me in on this.
I don't have a Mac yet, but I'm in the process of getting one soon!
-
we still need a name

How about:
1. Mac-Attack-Pack
2. Mac-Riderz
3. Mac-Squad
4. Mac-Pack
5. Team Mac Attack
Edit: #5 is my vote -
LOL!
Mothers of Innovation?
Team Mac might work, but yeah it seems NBR Apple Team is not the best, and we can find a better name
.
-
^ Without the hyphen.
-
iLike that

uGot My Mac, iGot Your Mac.

For the uninitiated: That's a reference to Frank Zappa. -
What in the heck would this team/club be for? Why have it? What's the benefit?
-
so what about mac lounge? -
"NBR Mac Squad" sounds good n
-
Good point ! My thoughts exactly
Even better point.
Too which I would like to add:
First, there are already quite a few ways to show your apple lov...avatar, sig etc.
Second, the fact that Dell has one should be reason alone not to create one.
Third the dell group is somewhat selective and exclusiveI am totally against such a "selective" group, as it would create a two-tier society in the forum, which would hamper open free speech.
That said, if people decide to do this and it remains as Sam said non-selective and completely symbolic then so be it.

A couple of new ones I thought of this morning:
#6: Mac 'n Cheese
#7: Team OSX -
sir,you are very wrong
-
How about the Mac Daddys? lol
-
Apple Club
-
I'm not feelin' it... How about Team Apple Cider? Or Team Cocoa? Or Aqua Team Hunger Force?
-
how about easy mac!
-
And it doesn't sound like they are joking in the slightest? ....I think all they are saying is don't be a complete idiot, which is essentially what the forum rules say. So unless the forum rules make NBR extremely selective and exclusive, the Dell Team is neither selective nor exclusive, though I do presume you need to own a Dell or need to like Dell a lot to join (if you don't, then why bother?).
-
I like Apple Squad or Team Mac, just not Apple Team
.
-
stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
I say we all vote on the name.
-
Apples to Apples!
Ok, I'm done now. And NBR Apple Team - it fits in with everyone else. NBR Dell Team, NBR X700 Overclocking Team, NBR Linux Team, NBR HP Team, NBR <insert unifying factor here> Team, etc. As Apple people, the goal is to stand out. I vote not having Team in the name at all. Squad or Force, please. -
I have an idea, we take a few of the most popular names here and set up a poll for them. Wait a few days and the one with the most votes is our new name.
-
What about NBR Apple Bunch.
lol, it'd be nice to have some kind of pun involved. Though I cant think of anything good ;p -
apple squad remind me power rangers for some reason lol
apple club ftw -

I insist on the Mothers of Innovation.

How about these 6. Not too weird, pretty simple. But they aren't just plain old Team Apple
Mac Force
Apple Force
Apple Squad
Mac Squad
Team OSX
Apple Team -
Apple Team MacinForce?
apple team
