I bought my MBP on Friday, and I calibrated it by draining the battery and everything. But today when I went to charge it, my meter said fully charged...yet the percentage is only up to 99%?

You may have disconnected it while it was charging up, and it only got to charge to 99%. The Mac is automatically set so it only begins charging up the battery when the charge drops below 96%, so it won't overcharge the battery.
So I wouldn't worry about it. If you must, use the MBP on battery until it drops to around 90% and then plug it back in. It should charge it up to 100% then. -
thanks for the quick reply (^_^). I've been trying to see if I can spot any major problems while I still have the 14 day return policy on my expensive investment. I'm sure your solution will fix it.

No problem, g3kko. Anyways, even if there are major problems after 14 days, your warranty covers it, so don't freak out just yet if you find an issue on the 15th day

i had the same problem, i used it till the battery was almost dead then recharged it to full. It cleared the problem and also it helps to condition the battery once in awhile by fulling discharging it.
battery only up to 99%
