    battery problems... again

    I've run into this issue twice already... once on 1 computer and another on this same one. It's the one where the battery is not recognized and there is an "X" where the battery icon is.

    I've done all the Software Updates, Batter Update 1.3, and tried resetting the PRAM. So far none of these have worked. Now I'm out of ideas. Before after going thru those steps, the problem would be fixed... not so this time. Any other ideas?

    I know they extended the warranty and were replacing the batteries for free, but not sure this one would be covered under that.

    i'm sure this would be covered. go to an apple store and say this is potentially hazardous as it may cause a fire in your house.
