This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     buy MBP now or wait for next sale?

    I will need a new notebook this summer to late fall. Should i take advantage of the current sale, or should i wait for the next one when there is another refresh? When will there be another refresh?

    If you need it, buy it now. It probably won't be until late summer for them to be updated again. There is a possibility of a case redesign though with the next updates.

    Well, by this summer or fall, it could be possible (and as time goes by, more and more likely) that the MBP could be redesigned...not that there is any major issue with the current design, I still love it :p.

    But if you can't wait, I'd take the sale now and run with it. The current MBPs are already so great!

    I'm guessing the next time they upgrade it is like November because they just upgraded some of the hardware.
