or might get the 2.4 ghz one for 180 less....

the only other thing im considering is the 2.4 ghz new gen macbook but i hate the graphics card and design.

i know all my older games can run maxed on either model. but what about medieval 2 total war, fsx, unreal 3, crysis with tripce c pack, and world in conflict.

now macbook air can not do standard def video editing with final cut express at all???

Its not a bad price, considering what it used to cost :p. I would actually get the $180-less one if I was considering a last generation MBP.

Both the new and last generation are a good price, the new MBP $400 more but with the newer graphics, processors, design and durability.

I definitely don't recommend using a MBA to do Final Cut :p.

I wouldn't recommend the mb for gaming, you will be better served by the Pro. Also the increase in screen size and quality will be important for video editing. If the only difference is 0.1ghz on the CPU I would save the $180, and go for the 2.4.
    Good luck
