I was tempted to do the same, but lots of people were saying that if you wanted to upgrade the hard-drive that you'll still have to order online and wait for the delivery. I think the Apple retail stores can upgrade the memory in-store however. Also, there's not much else you can customize on a Mac, as they pretty much come fully loaded from the get-go.

The Apple retail stores generally have custom configs to buy. You can't customize it to your liking but the pre-custom configs are pretty desirable. Good luck getting any MBP right now, it's hard to get them. :(

Hard to get because of the LED screen supply problems, right? Think Apple will ship my MBP out by their estimated date of August 8th? If not, then I'm right back in the same boat with Dell's M1330.

Macmall has the Glossy and Matt screen laptops, but you wont be able to get a 160GB on macmall.

I ordered mine from there and it reached me in 2 days of ordering. Not that bad wait time.
