so I'm trying to customize my dock I was wondering if it was possible to get the background of the dock to be white, or transparent while it's on the left side of the screen. I've tried Superdocker but I set the background to be white and nothing happens.

and tips? I love having the dock on the left, but it would nice if items had a white not grey background.

    no idea...

but if you use some program thats supposed to change it... it'll have to restart the dock to take affect and possibly restart the whole computer.

I always leave my dock on auto hide, so I never really notice it, and it doesn't use up any screen space.

ok, I got it transparent, only when it's orientated on the bottom. anyone know which files I need to replace to get it to be transparent on the left side?
