Looking to buy a digital camera for around 200, point and shoot sort of thing. Is there any particular camera i should purchase for use on a macbook.
Speaking of which, thankyou for helping in my college laptop search. I am happy tp say i am /very very pleased with the macbook.

Most mainstream cameras will work with the MacBook. I personally think Canon cameras are the best, Sony cameras have a great design. HP cameras are horrible.

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, I have a Canon Powershot SD800IS. Nice design, nice screen, awesome features and picture quality. -
check out the powershot 700. small, lightweight, excellent build/features, and rave reviews. i have the sd700 and its great. i would also consider the sd850 for ~350 as well.

The Powershot is a good line created by Canon. I think the newest one is SD1000, which is not too expensive either. I currently own a Panasonic Lumix TZ3 I think. It was about $350. Like Sam mentioned, HP digital cameras are horrible.

I'm actually considering the rebel xt, I can get it for $540 from amazon.com, does it play nice with a macbook? Anybody here has it?

The XT will work fine with the Macbook. I've come across nothing wrong.
