    i have my dock set to autohide, but it wont come up. any ideas?

    Go into System Preferences --> Dock and un-check the Auto-Hide box. Then re-check it if you want to.

    Or Restart your Mac.

    You can also try this: Open Terminal (Applications --> Utilities) and type "killall Dock" without quotation marks and press Return.
