This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     does 4Gig of RAM on MB make sense?

    On a C2D 2.2ghz blackmacbook, 4gigs of 667mhz RAM (from newegg of course), and a 5200rpm system.....

    was wondering if I should really up the RAM. i don't like 1gig...I do see how it could be a lot snappier.

    I use garageband mostly, its the most intensive app I use.

    what are your thoughts with 4gigs on MB?
