i am looking for the opinions of people who actually know alittle more then me about computers.
will the new macbook be able to run some simple games like age of empires 2, or comand and conquer, or warcraft? nothing 3d or to intense it just has to run them smoothly on windows.
-
-
Yes, it will run them fine. Older games are fine for the GMA series, just the newest, newer, and slightly older stuff is a no-no.
-
Intel intergrated is fine for warcraft 3 and command and conquer. U will run them and enjoy them.
-
Thanks very much!

what about world of warcraft?
-
Yes, WoW can be played on the MacBook.
-
the white one? plays well does it? anything will b a vast improvement that on my pc lol im no botherd bout WOW had it for a few months but its more for future games and stuff, just that level of graphics and so on
-
All of the Macbooks have the same GPU, so, it wouldn't matter which.
If you're planning on playing future games on it, I wouldn't get a Macbook, integrated graphics and newer games don't mix. -
meh i never bother with games anyway, wow the odd time and thats it. need it more for arty stuff for uni
-
what about the original Half Life?
-
The original HL should play fine on the MacBook. I believe you may be able to play HL2 if you max out the RAM on your MacBook and keep all the graphics settings at low.
-
Half life 1 and 2 both scale extremely well. They play on about anything from what I hear.
-
Yeah, the X1600 does give quite a punch (BF2 at 1200 resolution running at HIGHEST settings) but the laptop being discussed has an intergrated graphics card. Its one of Intel's on-board GPUs... not the ATI accelerator chip. Just though id clear that out.
