So, bought a few digital dvd's from itunes, and ya well long story short, after trying and trying to figure it out i have NO idea how to get them onto a dvd...

Is this a copyright protection from itunes?

    - dont want to step on any toes, or cross any lines so someone stop be if i do, but are there any steps i can take to get itunes movies i have purchased onto a dvd? (playable of course lol)

    - if i dont have the ability to move the movie onto a dvd to watch on my home theater, what would be the next best alternative? run a cable from the laptop to the tv and play that way (i would REALLY prefer dvd to cabling my laptop)

    - if all else fails, is there a way to view the movies on my theater from my ipod touch? maybe a broadcast or cable hook up?

    - if i have to do it, which of the 2 options would be best ? A. Hooking up the laptop to the tv, or B. hooking up the ipod to the tv ?

Thanks for all the help, sorry if asking how to move a movie to dvd is a restricted topic... moderators if it is a restricted topic can you please inform me, or feel free to remove that part of the post (in lecture all day tomorrow so wont be around to delete it very fast)

    Again, Thanks

As far as I know video's can't be burned... For this reason apple released the appleTV. This would be quite an expensive route to get the video's playing. Personally I use my laptop. The next step is to figure out what cables you TV will take. Hopefully there is a HDMI or VGA input, this will make it really easy. Next your gonna need a headphone jack to RCA (red/white) audio cable to route the audio from you laptop to the TV/sound system.
    Good luck
