I am going to be a mac specialist in few days, and probably will go to this mac forum a lot. In addition, I will sell my Thinkpad and get a mac book pro or mac mini. I just want to say hi to mac world.

Why did you leave the Linux world? Can't you have both?

If you're a linux genius, then it will be an easy switch (system and thinking wise) although you'll probably really enjoy the GUI, not bad at all (not as flashy as compiz/beryl but VERY usable, although windowshade mode is sadly missing AFAIK and the 3d cube desktop switcher is soo cool that no matter what his Jobsness thinks, Spaces WILL NOT OUTCOOL that!)

I'm just a Linux and OS X n00b, yet it has made me seem like a OS X master to my graphic designer MacHugging friends :p

actually, i probably will use boot camp and run gutsy. but i doubt I will use it much... because i am a full time student probably dont have much time. I would rather learn more about Mac so that I can be a better specialist.

hehe and i just got my motorcycle license and bike too. gotta learn how to drive fast and safe.

well, i assume i will sell my X61s out around 1k and throw in some $ + employee discount to get a macbook pro. unless aluminum mac book or mini nano actually come out.
