I did a search and i think iphoto might do it, but I didn't install iPhoto in the last install. How can I install it now from the cd's?

Insert the installation DVD and do a search for iPhoto. Alternatively, you could insert the DVD, click on Install bundled software only, and select iPhoto from the list.

I installed it but it won't let me crop the whole photo. I don't want to cut parts out. Do they make photoshop for the mac os? I have photoshop cs for the pc. Do I have to buy it again for the mac?

Yes, Photoshop originated in Mac, so of course they make Photoshop for Mac. However, you do have to buy it again if you want it on Mac. Or you can try it out for 30 days from the Adobe site.

Or you can try GIMP. Its an open source image editor not as powerful as Photoshop but better than iPhoto.

what do you mean you don't want to cut parts out of the photo while cropping? that indeed is what cropping does. you might be a little confused as to what cropping exactly is.

what do you mean you want to crop the entire photo? cropping means removing parts or re framing an image, the words crop an entire photo don't really make sense.

i am guessing you mean you want to simply re-size the photo. most likely, your images were taken with a fairly hi-res digital camera. the images are too damn big, and you need to size them down, not crop them. I would think there would be a way to resize photo's right in iPhoto, but I could be wrong.

iPhoto will let you crop, and so will Preview. I am not sure of anything that will let you resize though.
