    hello all!

well ive had this ibook g4 for a couple months now and it has run flawlessly since i bought it. but tonight i ran into my first problem. i went to turn it on after a couple of days of not using it and it will not turn on. when i picked it up there was a flashing white circular light on the front of it... it was fading in and out. i pressed the power on button and could not get it to come on at all, but the light still flashed. i removed the battery and the white light disappeared. since then i have not been able to get the laptop to turn on and the light has never returned.

i suspect it is the AC adapter because:

    1. when i press the gauge button that displays the battery charge it shows one flashing green light. so i think the battery is okay, just drained.

    2. when i remove the battery and try to run off the ac adapter the ibook still will not come on.

    3. it is a replacement adapter from ebay exactly like this one:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/AC-Adapter-For-...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1205|293:1|294:50

the replacement adapters are cheap and i can pick up another one no problemo. but am i missing anything? should i check anywhere else? any replies would be appreciated! thanks!

I don't think it's the AC adapter. I suggest taking it to an Apple store to get it diagnosed.
