Does anyone know how to capture a single frame in iMovie 08? I'd like to create a poster from a couple clips in iMovie but I can't seem to figure this out.

You could try a freeze frame, and then drag and drop to the desktop, and then import it into iMovie as a thumbnail. ;)

in '08? dunno... in iMovie '09 I just right click the part i want a freeze frame and hit add freeze frame... doesn't work in '08?

or you want to just like make a picture out of the movie, not add it back into the movie? you just play it in Quicktime or whatever.. pause with what you want on the screen and do a screen capture...

I really haven't played around with iMovie 08 in a while, ever since I got 09, but it should be pretty similar. If you try that method out, be sure to update us on how it goes! ;)
