    I just got an email from Invisible Shield, saying pre-order the shield for the new 3g iPhone. I guess a release date has been set?

    Thanks! I'm pretty sure that's just a picture of the current-gen iPhone (Invisible Shield would get fined a huge amount if they used a picture of the 3G iPhone). What do you think?

    Idk. Because the new iPhone is rumored to be all black, and the one in the picture looks pretty black to me.

    It certainly does look like the current iPhone, but it very well could be the 3G iPhone as well, from whats been rumoured about its appearance. Plus, the picture doesn't seem to have a hold switch like the current iPhone does...

    And I doubt Invisible Shield will get in any more trouble about having a picture of the 3G iPhone, simply due to the fact that they sent out the email to begin with.

    I think there's been enough consistent rumours regarding the 3G iPhone that I can safely assume the iPhone screen won't be much different but the back will be more curved.

    Anyway, I think its hardly possible that the iPhone isn't announced, given all the buzz and leaks going around. Especially the Australian box.

    Apples actually been called on for a lot of their recent stuff, with the nano, the Air, now this. His Jobsness needs to fire his security trolls and hire some new ones....

    all of the case companies will be the last people to know when a new iPhone is released, they will know when the rest of the world knows.

    people are entirely to obsessed with the release date of a phone, that is the only real certainty here.
