Don't know if this was known yet but a dutch guy posted these screenshots of a T-Mobile system showing iPhone 2009 models. I don't know if this is true though.

If that is, it seems like they are making the 16gb the base model now which is very good news.

Weird, I guess if that is real it would mean they would be coming out next week and not the end of july like they normally do.

    They're based in Germany :)
Also, if that was in the US, why would they have it? AT&T is the exclusive carrier of the iPhone in the US (at least for now...)

Yea, 16/32 makes sense given the fact that those HDs are getting cheaper and cheaper, And people would probably not buy a $400 dollar iphone for the 32 gig if they were to do 8gig/$200, 16gig/$300, 32gig/$400.

I am also going to be picking up one of these iphones as I have the first gen iphone so my contract just ended. To bad they got rid of the aluminum back side cover for the iphone, I really liked that alot. Did apple ever mention why they changed it from aluminum to plastic?

yes, the aluminum encasing reduced the signal of the iphone making it have a smaller range.
