    The iPhone lets the user use Google search in Safari. If a letter or word is typed, it pulls all the history. I have too much junk, and was wondering if I could delete that history. I went to settings > Safari, and from there cleared the cache, history and cookies, but it does not seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    On my ipod touch, if I have safari open, the little book picture on the bottom right is the history. There's an option to clear it from there as well.
