Is it possible to create an iPhoto slideshow that advances manually (vs. timed advances)? Using iPhoto would be much quicker than creating a full powerpoint presentation.

    Thanks.

While in iPhoto, from the menu bar choose "View-Full screen". Advance each picture by using the arrow keys.

You can also use the arrow keys in the slideshow mode as well. There is no setting that I know off to stop auto advance, but you could just set that to a really long time like >10 min or something and then press the arrow key when you want.
