The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After nearly 2 weeks with it, it's so far inferior to Picasa 2 it's making me sad. Google, please make Picasa 2 for OSX!!!!

    It isn't a thought as so much a fact. The inferior user interface (the left column is totally wasted space), folder structure, speed (2.2 Santa Rosa w/ 3gb ram), editing interface...

    I gave iPhoto a shot, but I prefer Picasa 2. I wasn't sure why I photo seemed to be listing all my photos by year. I seemed to have lost the original folders I had placed them into.
