I went to the Apple store today and the sales told me they just fixed the iSight driver for bootcamp a few days ago, so now the camera works on windows.

    Is this true?

I have not seen the i-Sight working in Windows. But the sales guy told me that i-Sight works in Windows. But wait. There's a catch. It works only during chats using Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger or any other net chat tool. You can't just take normal clicks using it. I don't know what's the actual truth. Can someone please confirm whether the full functionality of i-Sight is available in Windows on Macbook?

I've used it with MSN messenger in Windows, and I guess if you find a webcam application you could probably take shots with it.

Usually PCs will come with software to handle the hardware within the system, however Apple does not, so be prepared to buy even more applications to use them unless you can find a really good windows alternative. However, when you use OS X like you should, it has all that you need and runs great. Thats another tradeoff thats not really mentioned here that often.
