It'll default to Windows. You'll need to hold Option to pick to boot to OS X and then go to System Preferences and set the start up disk to OS X

It will default to whichever OS you tell it to. On the Windows side, use the Boot Camp control panel and select the volume to boot. On the OS X side, use Startup Disk from the System Preferences.

    http://refit.sourceforge.net/

you could install that program to allow you to pick which OS to pick on boot up.

I have it installed & it works well for me.

You can already select which one you want on startup by holding down the option key, if I recall.

It will boot to whichever you set as the default boot drive. Re-read my post above.

Yeah, you can set the default boot drive in windows or OS X. And holding option before it chimes will allow you to pick witch drive you want to boot into.

I think you interpreted it incorrectly.

You can set the default boot OS from within either operating system.

In OS X, you select the default boot OS by going to the system settings and selecting startup disk.

In Windows, you select the default boot OS in the boot camp control panel.

The OS you use to select the default boot OS does not matter, as they both have tools which allow you to *select* the default boot OS
