IMHO it looks fake, but the new MBP will probably look something like that. (according to macrumors.)

I've seen that article at macrumors.
I too think it's fake, but if you look at the threads on the upcoming macbooks/pros there, there's a lot of excitement and buzz about it. -
It's a horrible fake. But it's a nice concept.
-
According to what's on the screen, the person taking the picture is also using iSight.
But there's no iSight camera light on.
I call fake. -
Too fake. Angles are messed up. Vanishing point ftw!?
-
Even if it was a live video from the isight he's taking it at the wrong angle, the camera is level but the way it shows him taking it it should be higher and you should be able to see more of the top.

I've seen a few of these mock-ups now that show the rumored new MBP to have black design on the screen. Is there some special reason behind it?
-
The iMac's have it and people think they are going to do the same.
-
It's a fake. The perspective is off (if you try to draw lines to discover vanishing points, they don't meet up).
-
I like where that design is going. If the actual MBP looks like that, I'd be pleased. I'm gonna have to call fake on this image, however, it would not surprise me to see this or something similar unveiled by His Jobsness.
-
I actually don't mind the look of that mockup. They better keep a healthy selection of ports though...
-
Noooooooooooo macrumors said the macbook pro will use mini-dvi ports! noooooo, my overpriced samsung monitor will just be flushed down the toilet. o.0
-
I like the concepts but the picture looks really fake.
-
I was about to point out the same thing. It was the 1st thing I noticed.
-
I certainly hope it's fake. The current MacBook Pro is a classic example of excellent industrial design, and I think the black frame around the screen just clashes too much with the light-colored aluminum case. For some reason it looks good on the iMac, probably because with the iMac it's the dominant color, as the the whole system is basically just (physically) a screen.
I wish they'd just keep the same design (with the exception of maybe just making it thinner, but keeping all the other proportions the same).
is this real?
