You're welcome! Be sure to enable the firewall... it's off by default. Oh, and update to 10.5.1!

The "S" in "AuroraS" stands for Sam :)

I'm male, though... for all of you who don't know that (despite the fact that "Aurora" sounds girly)

I thought cori was a girl at first . And I never really asked you, but I assumed you were a guy until Gautam brought it up that he thought you were a girl  :D.

I don't know anyone with a name of Aurora. I just imagined that thing in the sky. And the S for Sam?!? You gotta be kidding me...

Oh, and to the OP... I hope you enjoy your new Mac! I'm gonna get one pretty soon.

Macbooks don't have built in memory card readers. But a simple Sandisk Mobilemate fixes that.

Yeah, unfortunately. I'd like a built-in memory card reader as well.

Did ALL of the keys stop responding? Or just most of them?

I was checking out a MB on display today at my campus Apple dealer... and I noticed that the MacBook had an unresponsive keyboard; all of the keys except the arrows and delete key did not work.

I wonder how you'll feel once the "honeymoon" is over and you've been using OS X for awhile ;)

Not to ruin the thread, but I'm on the edge of just wiping OS X off my MacBook and throwing Vista on it.

That's an odd problem. I'm having a weird keyboard problem too... although mine's totally different. Several keys on my keyboard require noticeably more force before the key registers.. (most notably DELETE, A, and the ' key)
I'm gonna see if I can get it replaced tomorrow.

Hmm...that is so odd, a keyboard going out intermittently. And it's all of the keys, not just a few?

Do you happen to notice anything else running when this happens? If possible, see if you can get a CPU/Memory monitor running and see what happens when the keyboard quits working. Also keep track of what apps are running too.
