Hi. I bought a new white macbook a few days ago. I just noticed now the batter meter says "not charging" and its only at 95%. Is there something wrong with my battery? should I drain it all the way and then recharge?

That's normal, It's to prevent over charging. You may see it go up to 100% then drop back down. It's all normal.

It's normal, and it happens even after calibrating your battery (though you still should calibrate it every few months). Just disconnect the magsafe for several minutes, and reconnect. The light on the magsafe should change to orange, and it should then charge back up to 100%. :)

I think the recommended calibration is every 30 cycles. You can download coconutbattery to show you info about your battery.

This is perfectly normal. I'm currently at 97% health after having dropped to 94%.

It's to prevent your battery from recharging all the time, and thereby damage its lifespan.
For example, there is a brief power outage or the magsafe connector gets disconnected. When power comes back, your Macbook won't start recharging itself from 99% to 100% or something.
