i reformatted my 13" pro and after some updates i notice that my screen had a more of a yellowish tint to it. before i guessed it might of had a blueish tint to it? i cant seem to figure it out why might i have a yellowish tint now verse the other tint i had. i have played with color options under the color and there was no way that is was that blueish color. i think ill format again and see if it fixes it. if you have any input please let me know. right now it is on

Just recalibrate your monitor profile... no need to re-install the whole OS.
a
ps normally the default profile is color LCD. -
That looks normal to me but you could always try to use the default settings for the screen calibration.

thanks i think i am just seeing things, dose anybody else have the display option? i notice at frys and best buy they do not have that display option in the color menu.
-
these can be added and removed.... something you installed at one time added one in possibly?
-
i have no idea how it got there, i formatted a couple days ago. maybe something with snow leopard?
-
Nope, I'm not seeing the 'Display Option'. Perhaps it could be an extra display you connected?
-
Yeah I'm not seeing that 'Display' in the list on mine, but the change in tint is most likely due to the white point. Just select 'Color LCD' in the menu, hit 'Calibrate', and then when you get to the white point option, adjust it to whatever you prefer. See if that works.
