I've had this problem for about 2 months now. My keyboard and trackpad periodically freeze and become unresponsive, especially after waking it up from sleep mode. To unfreeze it I have to hold down a key for 15+ seconds or sometimes even do a hard restart. I have replaced the keyboard and the problem has not gone away. I've had this problem under windows xp, tiger, leopard, and even after the leopard patch that was suppose to fix this problem. Resetting the pram seems to get rid of the problem for about an hour. Is there anything else I should try? It is rather irritating to have my mbp freezing up every 10 minutes.

Go to system prefrences>software updates> check for new updates and then you can download a update that will fix this! Apple corrected this problem not to long ago

This sounds like a different issue then what the fix was for. I would suggest calling Apple. I'm not sure what would cause this, but the the problem the fix was for, was an issue that only effected the keyboard from what I saw but I could be wrong about that. And that issue would not have caused a problem in bootcamp.
I'm thinking you may have a logic board problem or something since you say you replaced the keyboard.
