I just bought a wireless mightymouse. I like it.
It can't seem to make it auto detect at start up though, I have to open bluetooth and hit 'browse device' every time. what gives?![]()

Umm... did it come with a disk? Have you installed all the drivers for it?
-

nope there was no disc...

Try running Software Update when the Wireless Mighty Mouse is connected. Hopefully you will get an Update.

I am a total muppet.
You have to set bluetooth to 'Discoverable'
Thank you, good night

lol!! silly. I was gonna ask you if you used new or old batteries, cause maybe the batteries didn't have enough juice and the mouse was sort of resetting itself. But I guess you solved your issue

Of course. Well done! Sorry I wasn't initially of more help.
The mouse of my MBP used to be a bit stupid at times - it worked without the drivers it came with but you had to unplug it and replug it in sometimes - putting the disk in that it came with sorted that though - it's a USB mouse though.
BTW - Nice site... I really like the pictures. -
Yeah nice pics! You like to travel?

Not to be off topic, but what do you do?

well I'm a civil servant in the field of environmental protection
now then, this mouse isn't auto detecting after all! It auto detected after one reboot so I thought all was well, but this morning, no dice, I had to go and browse for it manually.
anyone else with a MBP and a mighty mouse can shed some light? -

Well I finally seem to have got this sorted. I stumbled across this firmware update that I think should have come via software update but did not.
