hi, i will be an owner of a new aluminum macbook soon and i know there is a good way to transfer your documents and settings from the old macbook to the another one using migration assistance in utilities. But the new macbook has no firewire so that leaves me only with USB. Is there no other way or usb although a bit slow but good enough for this? thanks

You can use an Ethernet cable and Migration Assistant.

That's what I did to transfer files and such from my iMac to my MBP.
