Is there a way to get a list of people connected to my MBP that I have enabled internet sharing?

If you're the administrator to your router this information should be readily available through your router.

@akin_t - The OP is wondering if they can see who's connected to their Mac when Internet sharing is enabled. They aren't using a router in this case.

@OP - You might be able to find this info in the Network preferences, but unfortunately that's the only thing I can suggest.

    I've never checked...

but if you type the command 'who' in terminal.app, it is supposed to show all users connected... I have no idea if this shows internet connection users.

I've never used the internet sharing in a PC/Mac, but if it's over wifi I'd be almost certain you can enable a password. Then you wouldn't have to worry about random people at least.

Though that me be true, I'm interested in seeing who is utilizing my macbook in case the password gets shared.

I think the best solution is to buy a proper router instead of relying on your MacBook to act as an access point. Have you considered the Airport Express?

+1 for a router and/or an Airport Express. The Express is great for streaming music to other rooms too! Their are apps that let you snyc multiple outputs so you can get whole house music even. I use my MBP, AE and iPhone to get sync'd music in 3 different rooms of my house :)

edit: also FYI, even with a router, all you will see is the name of the computer, the IP address it's been assigned and connection speed. You would need a more advanced type router with logging capabilities to actually see any sort of actual useage activity.

If you plan on getting a router, honestly ditch the airport express and look at getting a Linksys WRT45GL router or something of the like and add 3rd party firmware like tomato. I'm sure that will be able to show you the data you are looking for. But double check before you plan on going that route.

Tomato and DD-WRT have about the best monitoring capabilities I have found.
