This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     moving favourites (Safari) between computers

    I have just bought a MBA and need to move my bookmarks from my Mac at work.
    I have found conflicting advice on which file I need to copy to a USB drive and move to my MBA.
    Can anyone give me clear and step by step instructions on what to copy off my desktop and then where to put it on my MBA.

    Any of the options listed here will work fine - http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=209199

    The easiest thing to do is to simply export the book marks from the old computer (Safari / File / Export Bookmarks) and then import them onto the new one (Safari / File / Import Bookmarks).
