Okay well i need new ipod headphones cause like this the 3rd pair that blew out on me. The ones that come with the nano really sucks. Well anyways i was wondering if the zune premium headphones would work with the ipod. I believe they should but sometimes they dont.

As long as its a standard TRS connector, it'll be fine
.
I personally have Creative EP-630s for my iPod Touch...for $25, they sound much better than the iPod earbuds. -
Well here is a link to the specs of the head phones but still not so sure. Whats TRS???

I ordered a UE Super fi 3 from buy.com for 55 dollars, they are really great, they out do a Shure E210c-ns (which cost twice as much)

TRS connector is basically the technical term for the 3.5 mm mini-plug
.

Ahh okay. According to the link i posted in my second post the headphones do have a 3.5mm jack.

No idea how good the Zune Premiums are though. What's your price range?

Ehhh i could go up to $50 but i have to buy it in the store. PReferably best buy or gamestop cause i can get money off the products. I was looking at skullcandy. They look nice to. anything is better than those ipod headphones from what i hear.

Its funny I just wrote a guide for my dad on headphones. Here it is. Hope this helps abit:
I assume that your interested in ear buds and not over the head bulky ones. For those I would stick with Sennheiser, they have a large range that should match your budget.
Ear Buds
Anyways, the current pair I have are by far my favorite pair.. I have had them for almost 2 years now!
These are the Sennheiser CX300's
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/productdetail.asp?transid=500830
They are semi-canal phones, they sit just inside your ear canal, with soft silicon rubber (normally get 3 sizes to fit your ears). They don't go in very deep, and are the most comfortable style I have ever come across. They also block out alot of background noise and are therefore great on public transport/planes etc. It also means that you can reduce the volume and do less damage to your ears.
There are a wide variety of this kind now available on the market, so if you head down to your local JB or equivalent, you should be able to find a pair of this type, ie silicon tip canal phones, in your price range ($20-200 !). Also you should take your ipod and ask to try a few...if possible.
NB: Sennheiser have recently released more models in this range (cx400&500) but the only real difference is the addition of a inline volume control....not really worth the price premium. Also if you like this pair you might find them cheaper online.
Things to aviod.
the Koss the plug headphones- very uncomfortable, in fact any headphones with foam are probably best to avoid.
Although sony makes quite a few of these styles, I found the build quality on the pair I owned to be very poor, the plastic on the wire disintegrated within 6 months and the headphones broke as a result.
On some of the very cheap versions there are some sharp plastic edges, these can be uncomfortable, look for something with a smooth and small plastic body.
Headphones with the cheap foam covers are "crap", you will loose the foam covers within minutes and they are generally not comfortable.
Also avoid the intra-aural canal phones. These are the high end expensive kind like those made by Etymotic
http://www.etymotic.com/. Although these give great balanced sound, they can also be very uncomfortable... at least they were for me, require two hands, and several minutes to fit properly. They suit musician's and those who sit alone for hours and are very picky about sound. Unless you can try a pair don't be fooled by a sales pitch that these are better/the best.
Finally look at online reviews to find a good product in your price range, I found the following site a good place to start.

Good luck

I use these Sony ones: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs...51&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=11035445
They are kind of expensive (for non audiophile-quality, at least) but they produce excellent treble and bass. They also mute/eliminate outside noise. Well worth the investment IMO. The cord design that Sony decided upon is my one complaint. It has a relatively short cord with a unnecessarily long extender which I know for some people is exactly what they're looking for but for me is a pretty major nuisance.
To be honest though any headphones by a trusted brand will probably more than serve most people's purpose. -
you might want to check out the jvc marshmellows
http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000IS1ZZI/105-4372187-7808426?SubscriptionId=0B8B31S9QVGFY0FMK082
they will be alot better than your ipod headphones
if you can stretch your budget you might want to consider
the Ultimate Ears Super FI 3, I have them and they are really great.
I dont think they sell them at bestbuy, but i know some radioshack locations have them.
you can get more recommendations by going here

I'd agree w/ Syrc...the Sony MDR-EX71 series are a good deal for $49 or less. BB used to cary them, so you might want to check your local store if they still have stock. I had a pair of these, but I lost the rubber earpiece and I can't find the replacements it came with
eCost.com has the "recertified" for $16

I also got a pair of Shure E4c, but most people don't wanna shell out $200 for earphones -
