enjoying my new macbook. I just converted all my songs and now have them in itunes. I didn`t bring any vids over yet or pics and stuff from asus laptop yet. Just wandering what programs do people use to make life easier.

Firefox (for those times Safari just doesn't want to work)
smcFan Control - temperature & control of fans.
iStat Pro - monitoring computer stats.
Cyberduck if you do FTP file transfers.
Colloquy if you use IRC.
and.. that's pretty much the only applications I have on my Mac... I also run Photoshop, but that's not particularly necessary for the general user.
As for the comments on Quicksilver - I tried it for a week or so, and I found that I just didn't use it very much. But each user to their own I guess. -
