hey guys i just bought a mbp couple of days ago so far its running great and I installed Windows Vista Home Premium via bootcamp 1.4 it runs well too.
however my question is i switch to mac os x to search the web and use other applications then after that i switch to vista to play games my major concern is. is the switching back and forth from mac os to vista going to affect my computer performance in a long run? and is it safe to switch as many times as i can without any problems at all?
my 2nd question is after i installed vista my keyboard sensor lights doesnt work everytime i turned off the lights they won't light up is this normal? but in mac os x they just automatically light up.
my last question is this is under the mac os x application how do i record my self using the webcam and save it as a file? do i need software to do that? because i wanna play around with the moviemaker

You can switch between the Operating Systems as many times as you like. No harm there.

Driver support isn't all there for the Windows Vista platform on the Mac. The keyboard lights is one of the things not fully supported yet. Maybe when Mac OSX Leopard is released they'll have an update to Boot Camp to provide keyboard lighting support.

As for your 3rd, question, I'm looking for an application that uses it. So far iChat is the only one I found that uses it.

Switch between the two operating systems as much as you like. It won't hurt the MacBook Pro.

And as dbam said, driver support for Windows isn't perfect in Boot Camp yet. Boot Camp will be finalized in October.

As for the third question, you can use iMovie HD 6 (not the new iMovie '08, the old iMovie HD 6) to use the webcam to create a video recording. Open up iMovie HD 6, create a new project and in iMovie Help just search iSight for more information.
