Is it possible to play online games (online poker, …) on OS X or you have to run them on windows? Few days ago someone made a joke that this is the only thing windows OS is good for… :D

What do you mean online games? As in flash games in your browser? Or game games...like WoW?

well online poker is an application based game, you download, install, connect to server login and play virtual poker

Seeing that it is exe, windows based application then it won't run on a mac, unless they have made a mac version of the game which is likely, check the website.

You can always install windows so you have both of the OS's, so you can play all the games you want in windows.

Do you suggest parallels or bootcamp? I’m not a gamer, but occasionally I do like to play some online poker that’s all! (partypoker or willhill) But I would need WIN for running autocad.

I'd go with bootcamp, either XP or vista... for me I would probably just go with XP.

You can go parallels if you want, but it uses up lots of RAM...

Windows can be found on lots of torrent sites, its legal to download if you own a valid serial :) - I think,

Depends how demanding the game is really. If it's not very, try Parallels. If it is, then go Boot Camp.

Then again, it depends how good your computer is too.
