    Hi,

    I just ordered a new MBP and was wondering if there was any way to find out its build status. I know with Dell there is a way to find out what step the building process is in; is there a similar process with Apple?

    not that i know of, but look in the email they sent you, maybe theres a tracking site or something.

    Not sure how you ordered it but there's two options if you ordered by site with a registered ID.. User \ password then you can login to the mac site and access your order status there... It's pretty basic as in there's two statuses Not Yet Shipped and Shipped with a Tracking #. If not and you ordered via phone they'll likely have email you the order # which you can pull on the site to find status.
