I'm traveling overseas soon, to China to attend the Beijing olympics.
I have one question, do I need some kind of special AC/power adapter for my macbook? Because I heard that in Asia the power voltage system is different than the U.S.
thanks.

You need a plug adapter.

where do i get that? apple store?
-
It is not an apple thing. Any store with cables, adapters and plugs will have one.

Here's a map. China is listed as using both north american/japan plugs and Europ plugs. -
i don't want to plug in and get my baby fried -

You adapter should be world wide adaptable. As it has 100-220V inputs. You just need something to match the plug outline.

Your adapter won't fry, as long as you find the right plug, it'll work.

Any plug adapter will work. Before I left for Australia I bought an international plug kit from the Apple store, I believe it was $40 - but you can use any generic brand for China as well. I got it from Apple because it came with all sorts of adapters and fit perfectly onto my magsafe.
Good luck.
