    does any one knows where i could buy a powerbook in china( perhaps a chain store) and also if i could get a worldwide warranty with it? any prices for 1.5GHz 512 ram 17" or 15" screen? thanks!

    When I was in China earlier this year, I did not see much popularity of Apple there, and obviously no special deals. Your best bet is to buy it in Hong Kong, where prices are pretty much the same as you would find in North America.

    Yeah I been to stores that sell apple stuff in beijing and shanghai. They all specialize in apple. As far as the price...nothing great, it might be because of the low demand for apple products in china. I think you can get better price in the states.
