I am making some slides for work.

Normally I just use my work PC, but I thought I'd try playing on my Mac because I have just installed powerpoint.

The slides I have made look crisp, clean, the fonts are slick and well proportioned.

When I save and view on my work PC the fonts all look slightly larger and it some just looks, well, a bit pants.

    Anyone been in this position?

Any tips on how I can get a better result on PC?

I think it is because you use a different resolution on the PC and Mac. There is not easy fix except to play with it on the PC till it fits again. One thing that you could try is printing to PDF and using the PDF presention mode. I found PDFs to be more stable.

I have had alot of problems with creating powerpoints and then presenting them on a beamer that has a lower resolution. The problem went away with Office 2007.
I still have alot of problems with macro buttons ond controls changing size when i switch resolution. I got this one list box that grows in size everytime it is updated. Bigger bigger bigger till it takes up the whole screen. Only happens on the beamer. But that is a whole different story.

ok it's a resolution thing I guess that makes sense.

maybe the next version of office for mac will partly take care of it :)

yeah i thought they looked different. I am using Gill Sans on both machines... I would expect the appearance of a font to be standard!
