pre switcher

so ive been talking alot on here about switching to a mac! so today i decided i have time so im going to goto the mac store and look at macs.

first i gatta say damn im impressed the macbook (the one i want) is beautiful, small but not cramped, nice screen. perfect weight and low heat, i love the magnetic hinge as well as the magnetic power, i also couldnt see a huge diffrence with the led screens that would make me not buy a macbook now or consider that new dell,

i was playing with os x, and while ive worked alot with macs in school there still a tad odd and cool, i was able to understand most things on the os, i even found a mac with parrallels running and it was cool, the mac only had 1gb of ram so you could tell if parallels was in my future id need 2 gb or even the 3gb macbooks support but thats not a huge deal,

none of theres had bootcamp but messing with how parallels ran im assuming bootcamp is like any other pc so thats neat since yes as a switcher and a networking kid ill need some windows

to answer my question i posted about onenote. macs version of word has onenote in it, or its called word notebook, it does the exact same thing as onenote records lectures, mulitple notebooks, ect so i like that alot,

all in all it was a great trip they couldnt talk about how well software like handbrake works lol since its illegal but for my first time playing with a macbook i was VERY impressed.

so yeah im loving it, and i may be a switcher!

oh yeah with the apple free ipod thing they should let u upgrade to appletv, i already have a 30gb vid ipod and yeah i could sell or find someone to give the nano to it would be cool if i could get 200 off an appletv lols

 

You "may" be a switcher? I'd say you're hooked . It won't be long before you become a Mac guy, I'm pretty sure . Its hard to resist after you get interest in Apple, you start looking at everything on Apple's site, watching their ads, watching Steve Jobs' old keynotes .

Interesting on the OneNote thing. I'm happy about that...OneNote seems useful. I've never used it before though.

Anyways, good to hear you're highly interested in the Macs. Go for it, I say!

 

yeah im really close to getting so i guess like the topic is im a pre switcher, and yeah just to promote onenote, before office 07 on my pc i used word for notes and it was ok but this last semester i got to use onenote and its alot more organized, easier to search your notes and u can record lectures as u take notes, insert pics, write on screen etc, so i love it.

 

also.... i know windows guys are anti mac, mac store guys are also anti windows its kinda funny hearing the guy i was asking bashing windows, idk i found it amusing i even told him my job right now is to sell windows laptops and i know there probs
