I'm interested in switching to mac. I have a canon multipass F60 printer and want to know if its possible to print from it or if i'll need a new printer. I've searched canon's website and do not see a mac driver for it, but thought maybe there might still be a way

    appreciate the help

It should. OS X is like windows in that it has many drivers preinstalled, including the generic drivers that will run any model, although without some advanced features.

I have a HP Laserjet 6L. Officially HP doesn't support this printer through Mac OS X.

But the Mac OS X has the drivers for this printer and I have no problems printing using my Mac via. Windows network.

There a lot of "unofficial" drivers that will run older hardware on a Mac.
