Hola a todos! I still haven't bought my mac yet, but i got a new 16gb ipod touch on ebay really cheap, and I gotta say this little thing is amazing! It could almost replace my laptop during travels, except for the fact that i wouldn't be able to upload photos, or whatever, but I could take this thing with me and not worry about anything, it's so cool! Anyway, loving the ipod touch, will probably buy the mac soon...
Anyway, it was one of those without the software upgrade, hence why it was so cheap, which brings me to the following:
1. Can we discuss jailbreaking here?![]()
1.1 this one assumes we can discuss jailbreaking, but i will leave it for later![]()
2. Can i buy the software upgrade at a physical store?
3. If i skip this software upgrade and wait for 2.0, will I get all the apps at once and pay for only one upgrade, or will i have to pay for both?

Hello spain.

Hi Fez!
Just letting you know, at this point, we won't allow the discussion of iPhone/iPod Touch jailbreaking.
Anyhow, no, the Software Update has to be bought when connected to iTunes. And since its so soon, I suggest you wait until the next version of iPhone/iPod Touch software arrives. At this point, we don't know how Apple plans to charge for the next set of software, but there's a chance they might go $20 again, and for those who have yet to buy the Software Update, it comes with it. -
I see! Any idea how long I have to torture myself waiting for the next upgrade?

They will charge you for each because of the way they do the revenue for the Touch. Since it is not subscription, they have to charge. Although, I really think the charge should be lower.
