This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    quitting iTunes

    I opened iTunes for the first time 2 days ago an my iMac (powerPC). now every time I close it, it opens a minute late.
    I seem to be able to quit it each time but it's like it has a mind of its own and re-opens.
    I have gone to preferences and cannot see what to do to stop it from re-opening.

    Have you tried to reisntall iTunes?
