just got my MBP... boy is it nice!

thicker rubber feet in the bottom of the laptop would be good to improve air-flow though, does anyone know if any1 makes those? couldn't find anything on fleebay yet

How about a cheap or rather cost effective idea that wouldn't have you gluing or sticking something that will leave a stain on your new machine? Here's a simple solution that I use: you know those suction caps that comes with your soap dish? Get two of those and just stick it to the bottom - how much do they cost - probably a buck. And they don't leave a stain and you can always pop them off when you're done while elevating your mBp and increasing the airflow at the same time :D

You could always get a cooler too if you wanted. Not only will it lift it off the surface of the desk, it will blow air onto it, making it quite cool. And then you don't have to stick anything onto the MBP, you just set it on the cooler.
