    selecting multiple items in a file directory

    in windows, if you want to select a whole bunch of consecutive files in a list you press and hold ctrl+shift for the first and last file, and all the ones in between are automatically selected.

    is there a way to do this in mac os x please it´s driving me loooony :D

    Just hold shift when you select the first and release it after you select the last.

    If you want to select multiple individual files, hold the Command key. If you want to select a range of files, hold the Shift key.
