    Link please?

If they are the ones I'm thinking about you can get a pretty nice pair of skullcandy in ear headphones for $15 that I like a lot. Sony also has a nice pair for $40.

He's talking about the new Dual Driver IEMS for $78.xx I think. I've been curious too but I thought they weren't shipping until October. $78.xx I can't imagine they'd be that great, most decent dual driver IEMS run $200.00 or so.

As I thought, they are not shipping until October.

Yeah they won't be shipping until october. I will be one of the many apple drones to get them. Hopefully some reviews will be out before I decide to blindly give away my money to apple yet again.

I'll be looking for reviews. If they are even close to my old Westone UM2's that I used to have I'll pick them up. Though White is not my color at all, too bad they're not shipping black right off the bat.

I wish Apple had something better than those in-ear pods. I used mine once, and threw them in my "misc. junk" box. In-ear headphones just hurt me for some reason (I even have trouble wearing ear plugs at work... at a loud machine shop).

Yup.. my cheap over-ear phones are fantastic.

Skullcandy headphones are not that great. They have an abundance of bass thats it. Get sennheisser cx300's.

Interesting, dual drivers is definitely a step in the right direction. We'll see how they stack up against the other buds in their price range!

just got a pair of senn mm50ip's. They were the cheapest iphone headphones I could find that would give decent sound. So far quite happy, although now that apple has these dual drivers coming out I am also tempted to be a drone and throw away some more cash for no reason.

Are you able to switch songs with the control on a gen 1 ipod touch? I know the mic won't work, but will the volume controls?

You can dream for $78 haha! The UM1s are excellent if they $78s are anywhere near the UM it will be...impossible. :p never mind the UM2s. I am using some super.fi3 with my iPod Touch.

Remote and mic are only supported in the latest version of iPods except Shuffle. So Nano 4g, Classic 7g, and Touch 2g.

Yeah it looks like it will only with with the newest ipods. But it doesn't say anything about the iphone. If I get the new ipod touch I will probably get them as long as there good. The volume/mic control doesn't look bigger then the one on my skull candy full metal jacket.
